About our Beer Festival

Our Beer Festival is an annual event that is held in October of each year. It is set up, organised, staffed and run entirely by volunteers and without volunteers we wouldn't have a Beer Festival. It has turned out to be a resounding success with the debut of our new local brewery, The Brimstage Brewery. Brewer Neil Young has scored a resounding success with his very first brew Trappers Hat. When is it?

The Birkenhead Beer festival will take place on the 18th, 19th and 20th October 2007. Times are :-

18th October Thursday night. The connoisseurs night with no entertainment 7 pm - 11 pm.
19th October Friday night. An entertainment night with John O'Connell 7 pm- 11 pm. Note change of time!!!
20th October Saturday. Quiet afternoon session 12pm - 4 pm
21st October Saturday. Evening session 7 pm -11pm With Corrib an Irish band

Where is it?

The Birkenhead Beer Festival will take place at the Pacific Road Arts Centre in Pacific Road Birkenhead.

How to get there

The easiest ways to get to Pacific Road by Public transport are either to take the train to Hamilton Square Station or to get the bus or ferry to Woodside Bus and Ferry Terminal. Tickets for the Beer Festival are now on sale at outlets now. The outlets are as follows:-

Postal Sales should be addressed to CAMRA Wirral c/o 4 Buckingham Avenue, Bebington, Wirral, CH63 8RB and should be received by no later than 3rd October. Postal sales should also include a stamped addressed envelope. Note that the postage will vary according to how many tickets you order Remember when they're gone, they're gone so get yours now!

Volunteer

If you would like to volunteer to help in the setup and/or staffing of our 2007 Festival then Festival Setup will be from 15th to 17th October
