How to VIEW THE PUBS
Firstly select either the Area of Wirral that you wish to look at or the "Show all of
them". Then select which pub you wish to view and click on the relevant link.
After a short delay the relevant map will load. The map that shows all of the pubs will
take some time to load however depending upon your Internet connection, due to the amount
of data involved.
The intial zoom level of the map has been set to show the Wirral peninsula outline. The
map can be zoomed in right down to street level by one of two methods. Method 1 is to repeatedly
click on your area of interest. Each click will zoom in one step. Method 2 involves the use
of what looks like a "ladder" in the top left of the map. Clicking on the relevant rung will
give you the relevant level of zoom.
Movement around the map can be achieved by either left clicking and dragging the map using your mouse
movement or by using the direction arrows in the top left hand corner. If you wish you can explore all of Britain.
The map is initially set to default view called Map but you can set it to a satellite image view by clicking the Satellite button in the
top right corner of the map. The levels of zoom available for this feature are restricted due to available satellite imagery. Clicking on Hybrid
gives you a combination of the previous two.
A marker is used on the map to identify the pubs location. Clicking on this marker will open a window containing basic information about the pub.
